PRODUCTION RATES

At Underscore Productions, we approach every project from a creative producer’s lens first.

That means we’re not just showing up with a camera — we’re thinking about story, structure, pacing, logistics, and how everything comes together long before the first frame is captured.

Whether you need a director-led shoot, full-cycle production support, or streamlined post-production, our rates reflect both creative leadership and professional execution.

Director / Shooter

Half Day (up to 5 hours) – $600
Full Day (up to 10 hours) – $1,150
Overtime – $175/hr (billed beyond 10 hours)

This rate includes on-set creative direction, camera operation, and standard lighting/audio support for interviews and lifestyle productions.

We work efficiently and transparently with a flat day rate. If additional time is required beyond the standard day length, it will be discussed and approved in advance.

Camera Packages

Professional equipment matters — not just for image quality, but for reliability and workflow efficiency.

Base Camera Package – $450/day
Includes professional camera body, lens kit, media, batteries, and essential support.

Cinema / Advanced Package – $600/day
Expanded lens options, upgraded camera systems, and additional support equipment tailored to the production.

Specialty gear, additional lighting, or crew can be sourced as needed and quoted per project.

Expenses: Any pre-approved production expenses (travel, specialty rentals, shipping, or media purchases) are billed at cost.

Post-Production

Editing is where structure becomes story.

We offer both daily edit rates and scoped project pricing depending on deliverables.

Edit Day (8 hrs) – $750
½-day minimum applies.

For branded or campaign-based work, projects are typically priced as a flat fee and include one consolidated round of revisions to keep the process efficient and focused.

Additional revision rounds – $300 per round
(defined as one consolidated set of client notes)

Booking & Payment

Dates are confirmed upon written approval. Standard payment terms are Net 30 unless otherwise agreed.
